The not asking for the SID file is probably fine. It didn’t ask me either.
The first thing I would do is re-install the whole game. Be very patient with the installer. Just tell it where, hit install, and walk away for like 15 minutes. It has to update direct x, and some driver files. If you break the install by messing with the computer during it, it may have not installed fully.
I say this because I browsed the internet, and moved files around, and mine broke the first time. Re-installing it fixed it. I just took a shower and let it do its thing, and came back when it was done.
If that doesn’t work, you might want to check the fallout 3 forums. It sounds like it’s a problem for some people in that game too (also Bethesda). Some said re-installing direct x fixed it, or just re-installing the game.
Guys I have a problem.First of all when I install it nevers asks me for tha .sid file that the descriptions mentions.Anyway after I copy the cracked content and I launch it from skyrimlauncher it checks my system’s graphic performance and after it sets the level of detail and I press PLAY and it is supposed to launch it pops a message saying: “Failed to initialize renderer.Unknown error creating the renderer”. Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening??

When you mount the ISO to your drive (or burn it), you’ll see the skidrow installer in the main directory. Use Alcohol 120% or Daemon tools to create a fake disk drive for mounting the ISO image.

Nothing is cut. This is the same size as what I have from Steam. I know 5 gigs seems small, but the game looks fantastic, and has tons of voice acting (all of it is voice acted, actually). I don’t know how Bethesda pulled off such a small size, but they did.
there’s a bug in a quest. the game crashes when I get the amulet of saarthal in the “Under Saarthal” quest. I have to destroy a wall when I’m trapped and the game crashes. needs a fix I think

Hi, I have a problem with subtitles. Previous version of skyrim i could change language subtitle editing skyrim.ini and worked (italian for example). But now after patch 1.1 (128mb) if i do the same game crashes.. Any idea to fix it?

No, I don’t believe this has an option for Italian. Sorry.
Once you join the rar files, there should be an ISO file created, of that size. That is what Daemon tools needs to be pointed to. If it isn’t seeing it, set it to show all files, and look for it again. If that doesn’t work, write back here and I’ll try to help.

When i join the archives to get the image it makes a 5.11 Gb file that can’t be found by Daemon Tool’s.Does anyone got answers to this?
Make sure you also download and copy the update over, version 1.1 from skidrow. It contains performance and crash fixes.
Also, make sure windows audio sample rate is set to 44.1khz, 16 bit.
