Yesterday I found a fix that someone mentioned on one of the forums however. All you need to is go into your SteamApps/common/SleepingDogs, rightclick HKShip.exe and run it in compatibility mode for Windows 98. Haven’t had a problem since, the game runs perfectly now.
Hopefully this fix works for some of you guys, I know how frustrating this issue can be.
its working for me like a charm, copy&paste in other SD packs here, i have been 1 month trying to fix it and i found it like a miracle.
why with every repack i got the error hkship stopped working (the game even doesnt try to launch)

DLCs don’t work , can only see just cause 2 pack, that’s the only dlc i can see on the list. what happened ?
