Before you install patch 1.7.1

6. Play the game using “Might & Magic Heroes VI.exe

Hi, I have problem with patch 1.5. I am installing it and suddenly it writes that I didnt install Heroes VI. What is going on?
Had the same problem with updates. the ones found on torrents are for different versions of the game (eng, multi lang etc.) if you have the multi land version and try and install the eng patch you’ll get the message taht you don’t have heroes installed. What you need to do is figure out which version you have. Download the updates from for example here http://www.patches-scrolls.com/heroes_of_might_and_magic6.php and the use the crack from appropriate update version of the update you found on torrents. The crack works regardless of which version you have! I still can’t figure how to unlock addons though

Hello,
I got the same problem as nameless_h. Is there a sollution for this? I installed the game on a different drive in a different folder then just the normal installation folder like program files. Is this the cause of the problem? I hope this can be fixed so i can enjoy the game again!

The game starts and crashes at the loading screen. I am using Widows 7 64 bit; and have tried making a shortcut and putting /offline after the address. Please help!!
After updating, applying the crack and launching the game, I cannot play the new content because the game wants for me a key, as you can see here:
